Good enough for Brooke Shields.
Churchill's Pub on East Bay Street should make your list of stops on your trip to SAV. My wife and I dined here recently and have a new repeat dinning establishment.
We had all intentions of sitting at the roof top bar, unfortunately there was a private party. Not letting it ruin our evening, we opted to sit at the stately bar. With prompt service from the very attentive bar keeps, we were able to order up drinks in an instant. I did however feel bad that we had to keep pushing away our bartender to place our food order since everything looked good on the menu and we could not make up our minds.
With much friendly service and outstanding food, we will definitely be back to try more delectable food offerings.
Oh, yea. Found out from the bartender that Brooke Shields was there a few nights before and ordered up the same gigantic pretzel that I had ordered. I guess if I ever run into Brooke, we'll have something to laugh about.....Enjoy!
NOTE: This is the same Churchill's that was on 9 Drayton Street that was featured in the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Unfortunately, that location had a fire and they relocated to East Bay Street.
